Allen has had one true love: Milerna's older sister Marlene.
But him being a knight of Asturia and her being a princess, it wasn't meant
to be. Marlene was married of to the Duke of Freid. Later (actually
a little sooner than she should) she had a son named Chid
who became heir to the throne. Guessed it yet? Chid is actually
Allen's son. Marlene died of an illess few yeas ago. This is
where Allen gets confused. Princess
Milerna, Marlene's younger sister, (who's 15!) is in love with Allen.
To Allen she reminds him of Marlene and he doesn't know how to feel about
this. He also has feelings for Hitomi
but mostly because she reminds him of the sister he lost. Through
Zaibach's fate alteration machine he falls in love with Hitomi. He
later proposes to her but she is sent back to Earth. He doesn't get
any girl in the end (well isn't that a playboy's fate?) It waskind of crepy
though. Allen was 21, and Hitomi and Milerna were only 15! That's
like one of my friends going out with my youngest sister!!
Allen's father left them and was searchng for the secret of Atlantis
because of a girl who had magically appeared for a brief moment (this was
Hitome's grandmother!). He became obsessed with her and had to know how
he felt about her befor he returned to his family. When he found
her again he realized he was actually in love with his wife, but he died
before he could return. Allen has a lot of resentment towards him.
Another big spoiler is Allen's lost sister. Soon after Hitome
goes back to Earth his sister Selena just appears, turns into Dilandau
and is taken away by an invisible guymelef. Yes, Dilandau is actually
Allen's sister! Selena was taken by Zaibach and had experiments don't on
her which turned her into Dilandau. Selena still has the mind of
a child. When Van gets in a fight with Dilandau, Allen defends him.
When our happy ending arrives, Diladau turnsback into Selena.
