Hitomi -so what's there to her?

As I said before, the female characters weren't too well developed.  Hitomi finds herself liking Van more and more.  She is brought to love Allen more by Zaibach's destiny machine.  The visions start driving her crazy to the point where one of them pretty much kills her but she is brought back by Van.  When they go to the mystic alley, Van's mother tells her that the wars and everything going bad is the fault of her using her power, because they are also infused with her worries which become reality.  Allen proposes to her which makes her a little uneasy.  She wouldn't want to abandon her home on Earth and it might be odd for him to live there.  She gets sick of the visions and the war and is transported back to Earth where she realizes how much she cares for Van and he comes to bring her back.  She goes with Folken, Van's brother, to try to stop the war at it's souce: the Zaibach emperor.  She finds out that, oddly enough, the emperor has good intentions just bad methods of carrying them out.  He's wanting to reate the Altanis machine so that everyone's dreams come true. It turns out that making this machne in a time of war is a very bad idea!  Hitome is saved by Van and their love (or something like that) destroys the machine.
