Dilandau is definitely one of my favorite villians. He's the guymeley pilot in charge of capturing Escaflowne, Van's guymelef. He's very, very short tempered and narcissistic. He goes insane when Van puts a scar on his face. He's sadistic, cold, and twisted. He cares deeply for his friend Jajuka(a dog-type man) and, to some extent, the dragonslayers, who serve under him - although if they do something wrong... He's gone through a lot of emotional trauma. He serves below Folken in the Zaibach empire and is rather resentful of it. He doesn't like being told what to do and does whatever he wants. He has a personal nevdetta against Van for the scar on his face and he often rubs it, muttering "Chiku...chiku...". He has the greatest facial expressions!
